What's Your Sign?
Do you believe in Astrology? Are you someone that would speak to the dead if you knew you could reach them? Would you trust in the stars to find your mate or to learn more about yourself? Do these things matter?
The truth is there is one God who is Lord and Creator over all. He makes all decisions and everything belongs to him, including you. There is no power or authority in existence that can overcome him, he is the Sovereign Lord who can save us from the enemy or bless us with the desires of our heart.
2 Chronicles 33: 1-6
1 Manasseh was 12 years old when he became king. He ruled in Jerusalem for 55 years.
2 Manasseh did what was evil in the sight of the Lord. He followed the practices of the nations. The Lord hated those practices. He had driven those nations out to make room for the people of Israel.
3 Manasseh rebuilt the high places. His father Hezekiah had destroyed them. Manasseh also set up altars to the gods that were named after Baal. He made poles that were used to worship the goddess Asherah. He even bowed down to all of the stars. And he worshiped them.
4 He built altars in the Lord's temple. The Lord had said about his temple, "My Name will remain in Jerusalem forever." 5 In both courtyards of the Lord's temple Manasseh built altars to honor all of the stars.
6 He sacrificed his children in the fire to other gods. He did it in the Valley of Ben Hinnom. He practiced all kinds of evil magic. He took part in worshiping evil powers. He got messages from those who had died. He talked to the spirits of the dead. He did many things that were evil in the sight of the Lord. He made him very angry.
There is much taking place in our world and nearly everything Manasseh did people are doing today. Children are like refuse and people are depending on their own ability to get through life, full of anxiety and troubles they can't seem to get free from.
What can we do?
The answer is found in the Word of God. The Word says that Manasseh made himself low and cried to the Lord in prayer after he was punished and imprisoned by the Assyrians in Babylon. However, God heard him and felt sorry for him and set him free. Then Manasseh knew the Lord is God and served him for the rest of his life.
The beautiful thing about this story is the love and mercy God has for us and no matter how many terrible things we've done he has the power to set us free. Whether it's debt, strife, turmoil, pain and suffering. He can have mercy and forgive our iniquity to provide for us the help we need. He knows how to release us from the snare. Trust in the Lord wholeheartedly and acknowledge him in all your ways.
Your humility is essential.

Will You Be Ready?
12 I saw the dead, great and small, standing in front of the throne. Books were opened. Then another book was opened. It was the Book of Life. The dead were judged by what they had done. The things they had done were written in the books. 13 The sea gave up the dead that were in it. And Death and Hell gave up their dead. Each of the dead was judged by what he had done.
14 Then Death and Hell were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. 15 Anyone whose name was not written in the Book of Life was thrown into the lake of fire.
The day of Judgement is prophesied to come and it will happen. Just like every prophesy in the Old Testament was fulfilled through Jesus Christ so now we wait for the end. What does it matter? Nothing to some, just as it is written...
Matthew 24:36-41
36 “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. 37 As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 38For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; 39 and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 40 Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. 41 Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.
There are many verses that speak of the end but does it matter to you they were written? That's the question we all must answer someday. I hope truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ is found by everyone so we can all grab hold of the gift of grace, love and mercy that extends to us today.
The time is near,
